Shane Sparks of America’s Best Dance Crew Gets Another Court Date

Accused of child molestation, America’s Best Dance Crew panel judge and choreographer Shane Sparks went into court January 13. Shane Sparks was arrested on last month and charge with 8 counts of child molestation for incidents which allegedly started in 1994 and continued for several years.

According to Shane Sparks attorney Steve Meister, at the time of his arrest on December 18, 2009, he called the case, “extortion, Hollywood style.” Meister told TMZ in an interview that it “stinks to high heaven” because the accuser waited 15 years to come forward. Yes, 15 years after he became famous and made a name for himself. The complaint was filed by the L.A. County District Attorney’s office who picked it up.

Shane Sparks, 40, had to post bail on $590,000 before he was released in December 19, 2009.

The case will be continued on next month.

Meanwhile, as the case continues, the choreographer may have look for another job as it is being rumored that the producers for America’s Best Dance Crew are looking for a replacement for the premiere of Season 7.
