Actor David Boreanaz has admitted to cheating on his wife Jaime Bergman after being the victim of an extortion attempt by his unknown mistress.

In a statement to People, the actor states that their marriage has been tainted due to his infidelities and he just wants to be open and honest about the situation. The Bones star goes on to state that he was irresponsible and was involved in a relationship with a woman who asked for money and he felt like she as to trying to use the situation to blackmail him and it was some sort of extortion.

If you remember, David Boreanaz was the first man to be romantically linked to Tiger Woods’ no. 1 mistress, Rachel Uchitel, but the unknown woman in question, is not Rachel.

The unidentified woman also allegedly hired attorney Gloria Allred, who is reported to have demanded six figures for her clients silence.

David decided to come forward after this woman started demanding more money to keep silent, Allred entered the picture and contacted his lawyer, Marty Singer, to demand even more money.

Must have been too much stress on David.
