Hilary Swank has signed with Pantene to promote Pantene Beautiful Lengths, a campaign that encourages people to grow, cut and donate their hair to create wigs for women who’ve lost their hair due to cancer.
PG Investor quoted her as saying: “I have lost multiple family members to cancer and witnessed their struggle firsthand. I’ve never heard of anything quite like Pantene Beautiful Lengths, and I’m proud to be asked to promote the goals of such a unique and heartfelt program… I just hope that my contribution will help to inspire others to get involved in whatever way they can.”
Like every other celebrity, Mariah Carey is taking a stab at putting out her own fragrance. Although the news was first announced earlier last year, it seems that she has just gotten back into gear and is now ready to release it to the public.
Her first fragrance, M by Mariah Carey is in partnership with Elizabeth Arden (the same company that sells the Britney Spears perfumes) with the help of perfumers Carlos Benaim and Loc Dong of International Flavors and Fragrances. The singer reportedly signed a licensing and marketing deal to create and promote the fragrance using her name and trademarked butterfly design.
“This is the first fragrance I’ve ever worn. The inspirations were multiple – places I’ve been, moments in my life, childhood things like the marshmallow scent,” the singer told press.
