Jessica Simpson will play a blonde in the new movie “Blonde Ambition”. The film was inspired by the theme of the Academy Award-winning movie “Working Girl”. Simpson will play the part of a small town girl who moves to New York City and rises up into a great career as a business woman.

“The movie is absolutely horrible,” says a source. “It’s just a bomb, mainly because of Jessica’s acting.”

Simpson’s rep: “It’s definitely a theatrical release.”

A rep for the movie studio tells Us, “The final distribution plans have not been confirmed, so it would be premature to comment at this time.”

According to reports, this month an announcement was allegedly made that the movie go straight to DVD.
